There are many reasons why we struggle with loving ourselves. Maybe we were raised in a home where we were never told that we were loved. Maybe we have been critical of ourselves for years and have begun to believe that we are not worth loving. Or maybe we just don't know how to give ourselves the love and acceptance that we need. Or perhaps, we just don't know how to give ourselves the love and acceptance that we need and deserve. No matter what the reason, though, learning to love yourself fearlessly is an important journey that will lead you to more love, success, satisfaction, and happiness. And luckily, it's a journey that can be started today!

So how do we start loving ourselves fearlessly? Here are 12 simple ideas to get you started:

1. Get a notebook & pen (no digital notes), Make a list of your positive qualities daily for 30 days

One of the best ways to start loving yourself is by acknowledging your positive qualities. Write down a list of all the things that make you unique and special. Include qualities like kindness, intelligence, creativity, and a sense of humor. When you focus on your good qualities, you will begin to see yourself in a more positive light. When you focus on your good qualities, you will begin to see yourself in a more positive light. This will help you to love yourself more fully and unconditionally. So make sure to take some time each day to reflect on your positive qualities.

2. Practice self-compassion daily for 30 days

Another way to start loving yourself fearlessly is by practicing self-compassion. When you are compassionate towards yourself, you accept yourself just as you are. You forgive yourself for your mistakes, and you allow yourself to feel your emotions. This can be a difficult thing to do, but it is well worth the effort. Self-compassion means that you are kind and understanding towards yourself. You forgive yourself for your past mistakes, and you allow yourself to feel your raw emotions. This can be a difficult thing to do, but it is well worth the effort. If you're not comfortable allowing your emotions to surface, practice this with your therapist, trusted friends, or family member who can hold the space for you without any judgment. When you are compassionate towards yourself, you are more likely to treat yourself with respect and care. This will help you to love yourself more fully and unconditionally. So make sure to practice self-compassion every day!

3. Acknowledge your wins and accomplishments

Another way to start loving yourself fearlessly is by acknowledging your accomplishments. No matter how big or small they may be, give yourself credit for all the things you have done well.

Focusing on your accomplishments will help you to see yourself in a more positive light, also, you'll realize how blessed you were, how the universe was on your side guiding you through the most difficult time in the past. This will in turn help you to be more grateful for your journey, and love yourself more fully and unconditionally. So make sure to take some time each day to reflect on your accomplishments.

4. Make time for self-care

In order to love yourself fearlessly, it is important to make time for self-care. When you take care of yourself, you send the message to your mind, body, heart, and soul that you are worth taking care of. So make sure to schedule some time each day to do something that is good for you. This could be something as simple as taking a relaxing bath, reading a book, listening to uplifting music, meditating upon waking, going for a walk in nature, or disconnecting yourself from your devices for 1 hour each day. Set an alarm on your phone for your self-care time and day.

5. Take care of your body

Another important part of self-care is taking care of your body. Make sure to eat healthy foods, especially anti-inflammatory food, and get enough exercise. When you feel good physically, it will be easier to feel good mentally and emotionally as well. Exercise releases endorphins, which can improve your mood and make you feel happier overall. Also, daily light exercise or movements like walking or stretching are also beneficial for your circadian rhythm to be regulated. And eating healthy foods will give you the right amount and quality of energy and nutrients you need to feel your best. So make sure to take care of your body by eating healthy foods and getting enough exercise.

6. Take care of your gut

The gut is a more intelligent brain than the brain in your skull and here is why. The gut-brain axis, the communication highway between the brain and gut, is a supersonic, superintelligent network communicating with each other constantly and making critical decisions every nanosecond for your successful survival on the planet. According to the National Library of Medicine, your gut generates over 70% of your immunity with 100 trillion gut bacteria of 500 bacterial species, comprising nearly 2 million genes (the microbiome). 70% of your health is based on how your gut functions and thrives, the 30% of survival decisions are made by your brain in the skull. It only makes sense to take care of our gut health for your health, well-being, and happiness. 7. Speak kindly to yourself

Another way to show yourself love and acceptance is by speaking kindly to yourself. Instead of berating yourself for your mistakes, speak to yourself with kindness and understanding. When you talk to yourself in a negative way, it only leads to more self-doubt and low self-esteem (Read tip#10, "Bless Water You Drink," how negative words emit harmful energies). So make a conscious effort to speak kindly to yourself, especially when you make a mistake.

When you talk to yourself negatively, you only increase your self-doubt and low self-esteem. So make a conscious effort to speak kindly to yourself, especially when you make a mistake. This will help you feel more accepting of yourself and will lead to greater self-confidence.

When you catch yourself speaking in a negative way, stop and replace the negative words with positive ones. For example, instead of saying, "I'm such an idiot," try saying, "I made a mistake." This simple change can make a big difference in how you feel about yourself.

8. Learn how to process emotions

"Don't cry, you're a boy!" "Just suck it up!" "Stop whining!" "Behave yourself!" Unfortunately, most of us grew up not learning how to safely express and process our raw emotions. By the time we graduate high school, we have become pros of suppressing our emotions and inner emotional conflicts because we were praised for being quiet, numbing our feelings and emotions at home, school, and in social settings. So, we unload those accumulated suppressed emotions and emotional conflicts with therapies, alcohol, drugs, rage, or other venting methods. After repeating the cycle of unloading and loading, unloading and loading, we get tired of the seemingly never-ending wheel of life. What we need is to learn how to "process" instead of just unloading or dumping it at the therapist's office. At Heather & Hearts Healing, we provide basic tools anyone can learn quickly to properly process emotions without feeling weighted or victimized.

9. Learn how to communicate with your body

As you can see from the previous lists, your body holds tremendous potential for your healing. Taking care of your body's needs, choosing healthy eating habits, take care of your gut health are all essential to your well-being. Listening to your body's signals, tune into your body's needs, what it might be saying to you through pain, indigestion, inflammation, sleep pattern changes, hair thinning, skin rashes, irregular menstrual cycle, changes in sexual drive, fatigue, or the mood swing you can't ignore anymore. Remember, your body never attacks you, hates you, or bullies you but tries it best to let you live longer as much as it can. So if your body signals you, pause for a moment and listen. If your body is knocking on your door by saying, "We need to do something about this," do something about it immediately. But unless you're tuned in, you may miss the sign or message from your body. Meditation is the simplest and fastest way for me to tune into my body; I sometimes can hear the changes in frequencies of my body if I can tune into my body. This is how I know what my body needs for the day, whether changes in my supplement dosage, drinking more celery juice, eating grass-fed meat, or doing longer/shorter intermittent fasting. It's amazing to be able to communicate with your body's intelligence on demand.

10. Bless the water you drink

A Japanese scientist, Masaru Emoto's New York Times bestseller book, The Hidden Message in Water, explains that water can reflect the energy of consciousness, whether positive or negative, helpful or harmful. Dr. Emoto's research also shows how polluted and toxic water, when exposed to prayer and positive intention, can be altered and restored to beautifully formed geometric crystals found in clean, healthy water. The human body consists of 68% or more water, what if we could bless the water we drink with gratitude, appreciation, inspiration, compassion, and love, then 68% of our body can vibrate with the positive and loving consciousness energy.

No matter what the reason is, it is important to remember that it is never too late to start loving yourself. And the first step is always to acknowledge that you deserve love. Once you have acknowledged this, you can begin to find ways to give yourself the love and acceptance that you need. Hopefully, these ideas have given you some inspiration on how to start loving yourself fearlessly today.
